TO ALL CUSTOMERS

As many of you may already know, towards the end of 2009 Mr. Adriano Lemmi resigned, as expected, from his responsibility in Ugivis.
I’d like to start, as new President of Ugivis, the year 2010 with a dutiful and warm thanks to Adriano who during the years has demonstrated high skills and was very committed in designing and building this highly complex industrial project during a quite difficult economic context.

Thanks also in the name of all people at Ugivis.

Now it’s time to turn the page.

Without any doubt, Ugivis today represents Europe’s highest technological expression in the cold forming of stainless steel fasteners.
The various automation systems in the start-up phase gave us some inconveniences while we were tuning them. Today, they finally grant Ugivis the possibility to produce at competitive costs a wide range of products both in standard and in special fasteners.
In the beginning, the fully automatic warehouse with 8.000 pallet places produced more inefficiency than benefits, while today it allows us to fast react to market requirements.
The changes and improvements planned in our EDP system will guarantee a highly equilibrated service level and a strong reliability in line with customer demands.
For better satisfying market needs, we’ve also decided to renew our internal organization.

Starting from December 2009, Mr. Giuseppe Denti has come back as our Sales Manager and in the same time, Mr. Lamine Diouf has taken the responsibility of the Supply Chain.

Besides we’ve also introduced some new double stroke cold formers and new highly skilled specialized technicians coming from the old Tevi, who will help us enlarging our production range. This is our answer to the special fastener requirements which we plan to meet with an increasing professionalism and competence.
I’m confident that everybody will have the possibility to express their competencies both technical and personal.
These are only few of the changes that we intend to make. More will follow with the final target of better answering market and customer needs.
